Butterscotch Apple Pie

Ingredients:

Double pastry crust for a 9” pie
2  cans (21 oz.) Comstock® or Wilderness® More Fruit Apple Fruit Filling or Topping
3/4 cup butterscotch-flavored topping, divided
1/2 cup pecan halves

Directions:

1. Place 1 pastry crust in greased pie plate. Pour 2 cans apple filling evenly into crust; drizzle ¼ cup butterscotch topping over fruit filling. Place second crust over filling. Fold edge of top pastry under bottom pastry; press together and seal. Cut several slits in top crust to vent. Bake in preheated 425°F oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 15 minutes. Arrange pecan halves on top; pour the remaining ½ cup butterscotch topping over pie, letting it drip down the sides. Serve warm.

Makes 6-8 servings
