1810 Tin canisters invented
1890 The Larsen Company established in Green Bay Wisconsin
1934 Freshlike canned vegetables introduced
1940 Freshlike becomes the first brand to vacuum pack vegetables
1950 Frozen mixed vegetables introduced
1960 Freshlike Frozen brand created
1982 Freshlike introduces Freshlike Blends
1986 Dean Foods acquires The Larsen Company and creates Dean Foods Vegetable Company
1987 Freshlike Family Packs developed
1993 Freshlike Stir Fry Blends introduced
1994 Freshlike introduces Pasta Combo’s
1998 The birth of Baby Blends
1999 Agrilink Foods , a processing and marketing cooperative, acquires Dean Foods Vegetable Company
2001 Freshlike Deluxe canned vegetables becomes “Selects”
2003 Agrilink Foods changes its name to Birds Eye Foods to reflect the company's largest brand
2005 Lightly Seasoned introduced
