Saucy Green Beans
Ingredients
- 3/4 cups Nalley's Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons instant chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons seasoned chicken stock base
- 2 teaspoons Nalley's Horseradish Mustard
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups cooked green beans (or cauliflower)
- 3 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sliced or slivered almonds, toasted
Combine mayonnaise with next 6 ingredients; stir into beans. Turn into 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with crumbs and almonds. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 6 servings. For salad: Use half beans and half cauliflower. Prepare as above but do not bake. Chill and serve on salad greens.
